Meet the People Behind the Museum

Jocelyn Olsen
Executive Director
Jocelyn has spent years envisioning a children’s museum in Cedar City, inspired by her love of working with children and her connection to local families, schools, and the community. She holds a bachelor’s and master’s degree in accounting, as well as more than a decade of experience as a private accountant. Her background in financial management and thoughtful planning helps guide the museum’s development. As founder and board chair, she’s excited to help turn this long-held dream into a place where Cedar City’s families can learn, play, and make memories together.
Danielle Orton
Early Childhood Education Advisor
Danielle has taught preschool in Cedar City for more than 25 years and holds a bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education with an emphasis in Early Childhood Development from Southern Utah University. Her connection to local families spans generations, with some former students now bringing their own children to her preschool. She brings a warm, practical understanding of how young children learn and is excited to help shape museum experiences that encourage curiosity, support classroom learning, and make children feel welcome.
Brianna Milton
Nonprofit Development & Accessibility Advisor
Brianna brings extensive experience working with nonprofit organizations, including several years as a grant coordinator for The Good Deed Project. Her work has included coordinating fundraising efforts, maintaining sponsor relationships, and donation management. She is committed to helping create a museum where accessibility is part of the planning from the beginning.
